Epilogue:
Ngozi later found out that the lucky girl who stole her man was her secretary; Esther. When she left for her computer degree in Calabar, Pat and Esther became too close for comfort. She became pregnant and his mother was belated with happiness, she has been nagging Pat to get rid of that “man” referring to Esther. She suggested he marry a real woman that is capable of giving her grand children instead of competing with men in the corporate world. She never showed Ngozi that she detested her, but behind her back she called her all sorts of names; he-goat, old hag, log of wood, she-man, nwoke etc. Pat on his part just liked the situation with Ngozi and had never thought of marrying her, she didn’t complain and he said nothing. They were happy with their jobs and life together so they both avoided the “M” word like a plague. She concluded that if she were to do it again, she will do it all differently.

Writer Profile
nina

My name is Eucharia Nina Chika Igwe; I'm a citizen of the world. I love to write, among many other things.

I currently reside in the USA and would one day like to be a Minister for Health. Health and Wellness-related issues are my passion. I strongly believe that a healthy nation is a wealthy nation.

High self-esteem is one of the things that has sustained me. Love starts with oneself and then flows out to the rest of one's environment.

I am a spirit-filled individual determined to make a whole lot of difference in this generation and in generations to come.

I do ask one thing of you: Always give your honest opinion about my writings. It is truly appreciated. Make each day a memorable one. Ndewo!!!
