In the past year, there has been many an issue with the several trade agreements of which the most powerful countries in the world are pushing their way into Costa Rica. We must stop, and ask ourselves WHY?-
Would the U.S.A. and now China, want to get their "mitts" or {"paws"?} into that sterile, free, loving, little, purely democratic, non-armed country of Costa Rica?
I think that each word of the description of the country I used, initiates reasoning of answer.
Costa Rica has one thing that NO other country has, and it must NEVER be forgotten, Freedom through a Pure Democracy! I am sure you are aware of its vital location as a porthole for other countries. We must beware of this. I do not know if, because of the "sterility" and location of Costa Rica, it has the capacity to produce many botanicals that are needed to produce new medications. One of such plants, of thousands, that can be grown here is Kratom. It is an unknown to many, and must be handled as a newborn, but its possibilities to replace many a narcotic, or opiate substance for pain, without withdrawal, should be pharmaceutically looked into. I personally have been exposed to this product, as it is sold legally in the U.S.A., and is a legal plant in many an area with the exceptions of a few S.E. Asian countries. It can only be grown in very few existing countries.
Our discoveries are left to lie in the paths of all the medications that can be produced only from the certain fruits and vegetables that can be grown only in this varied type of tropical climate.
We must not let this country be overrun by any others leadership, or by the many folds of populations that would like to make their environment on top of this soil that is more precious than any "gold" beneath.
We must give the Tico people not only the chance, but the influence to work, not just for themselves, but for this country. The Tico people are more loyal to this country than you anticipate. There is a true love amongst the true Tico.
You must remember this LOVE of the Tico and its family, as that love is your stronghold, as they know it is theirs. For if you give THEM the opportunity, they will go forward stronger than any other race, that has been scorned with the laziness of technology, and the loss of LOVE in their interaction with their most sacred land. It has been a while since the Tico native has been harassed by a prejudiced stronger power. Most here still live under Catholicism, of which was brought on by the Spaniards who had destroyed a civilization here. Let the Tico be there for you, here!
This is just an introduction to the changes that a free democratic society is going through, and if it takes place, Costa Rica will not be seen as it is today. To walk the Costa Rican streets, the greetings are from each and everyone. The kindness in their eyes reflects the way they are, and the way they would like to remain.
Now is the time to see this country! Now is the time to join this country and work with it. To let the Tico people build your home, and serve you a wonderful meal, at their restaurant, for a $3.50 cost, puts an amazing $1.00 in their pocket, and another $1.00 in the farmers pocket that actually had the livestock, vegetables, and home-made desserts and even homemade drinks.
Will they lose the identity of being able to serve you a dinner with love? Will the Flan and Teas as drinks disappear from the dinner you might only have now. It may become "Coke" and "Root Beers" that take the place of nutritious aromatic and healthy beverages.
Costa Rica's food is still of their early era. The streets are considerably at the growth rate of the U.S. 50's. But do they want to grow to obtain something that others may want to acquire or take from them?
If you are considering moving here, Please make sure that you will not be here to try to undermine these people, and make them captive of any other society except for that of their own. If you are looking for love, peace and tranquility, they are good aspects but there is another step. If you want to make a new family, in all the neighbors which are part of your daily life, it can happen. These people cannot be scourged of their dignity nor pride. You must work with them, and through them you will find the love and endurance of life that is only due to learning to live that life as they do.

We are all within each other. When that is realized, our prejudice and communication interference will be that of telepathic communication. We will be one with each other and one with the world. These bodies are only temporary forms that keep us restricted from our own heavenly place.
It is only a temporary restriction, especially upon those who intend to use their "physical attributes" with just the selfish, social advancement of themselves.
If this world had started to gain acceptance and understanding of all problematic errors within, we may have been able to share these "advancements" with our brothers and sisters, who are NOW--not later--in danger, not from the immediate natural disasters, but of those that will not surrender the help they need to overcome their immediate handicaps.
The ones of unshared power with food, shelter, clothing, and then to add the militia.
The militia could have been justified, if its intentions were there for the less fortunate, not to take more from the unfortunate.
I live on my lifelong work of gathering a pension, which is paid back to me only due to many years of work. Others work hard, and see nothing. All I have to Always say is "Me casa, es Su casa!", Mucho Amore e "Pura Vida!"
