Be a Ugandan: promote Ugandan culture Be part of the tradition and promote Uganda’s culture.

Culture, culture, culture!
The roots of culture are gone.
Its wonders are no more.
Its treasures were rooted,
Its heritage is hanging-
The hanging culture.
Oooh, culture! The promoter of social integrity...

Murdered by the invaders,
Slaughtered by its own people,
Smuggled by thy friends,
Cursed by its own blood-
The hanging culture.
Oooh, culture! The promoter of peace and unity...

Ignored by thy citizens,
Escaping like gasses,
Leaking like a liquid,
Uprooted like weeds-
The hanging culture.
Oooh, culture! The promoter of communal understanding...

Blocked as water in the reservoir,
Captured as a prisoner of war,
Tested as if it had no value,
Naked as a birthday suit-
The hanging culture.
Oooh, culture! The promoter of entertainment...

The endangered culture,
The melting culture,
The culture downcast like a shadow,
The winding culture,
The hanging culture.
Oooh, culture! Shapes moral identities and attitudes...

Artificial like an invention,
Taking refuge like immigrants of war,
Encroached upon like a forest,
The culture with no hope-
The hanging culture.
Oooh, culture! The promoter of tourism and development...
