Seems like eternity since I wrote to you dear,
Though not a thing is gone; all within and near.
The memories we caress with sorrow, on parting nights: of us.
Remember how walked in caroling effulgent lights,
Listening to nature, violins and the litanies of chirping birds.
We gathered shells of imaginary creation on sandy beaches.

From eyes fall tears, the distance we covered across world.
On paper, the genesis of passion unknown unto words.
Now you are far yet so near, your breath sonorous to brim.
I could never be too busy for you were the eagles to soar and the sun to dim.
There lies a passion, so much more within… in reminisces.
Passing glances of you season my daydreams and haunt my nightmares.

My heart throbs like a racing chariot and my eyes glow with radiance.
As I hold you close and whisper in your ears pieces of cogency.
On bended knees, I plead with a pen and sundry limericks.
My beloved poetry, your beauty impales love in the limelight.
So I ask with more pleasure, will you marry me?

Poetry is passion; my passion - It is the voice of the voiceless. I write poems through inspiration from day to day events and experiences in my life. With what happens in our society I hope to create awareness, inspire positive responses and in turn, learn from others.
