| I can run through the streets Unworried about consequences I can fly away to places beyond hurt It’s a place where the future and the past Are nothing but a present A gift of peace With my eyes wide shut The pains of Tomorrow’s uncertainties Are but a distant thunder The scars of the yester-years A fading wind This is a place I want to be forever But It lasts only as long as a thought For when the day breaks And the nations awake Reality prevails Rephrasing my Sweet Dreamland Solace. « return. |
