A lonely feeling circles in on the already empty shell of what I used to be;
Harder to make sense of all the same words but three.
Morning to noon and noon to night, there’s still no great shining light.
Life isn’t fair and it’ll never be, but there’s a man who knows all to well
The unjust feeling of this hell.
Some deserve it and others receive it; makes no difference, everyone grieves it.
A hollowed breath or a sharp, quick pain, we all got the feeling the one and the same.

I believe there’s hope somewhere beyond the black,
But if we try and find it we would never come back.
But, oh well, I found you here in hell which, proves this place ain’t so bad.
Think of all the times we had.
Upbeat and running on, moving forward to tomorrow.
So much happier here; no need to borrow anything else for myself.
Quick in speed but it’ll last forever, more than months at a time.
We’ll be together in that place we dream… just within our reach or so it would seem.

Friend, I’ll be here till the end, the one you want, just like a fairy tale.
Together we will sail into that dream.
There’s no sign of time, of grief, of strife, or any sign of ending life;
Just sitting back and watching. Oh, just imagine all the fun!
You say things won’t work and it’s all too much,
But I’ll be here. I’ll be your crutch to pick you up when you’re down,
Just around. I’ll be there, no need to frown.

When at times you feel weak in your knees and can’t stand at all,
I’ll do my best to catch you if you fall.
You’re my friend, wouldn’t have it any other way.
Not today, just keep it all the same.
And we’ll dance so free to anywhere, anytime, anything.
Just you and me; live on forever when we’re set free.
