| At last Door opens To my true feelings Says brother, you must sing The joyous songs of the day After all; at last Remember, a little time there The drought was mad; there in the dark Knocking at the door Trying to whisper something Something I must not hide anymore It says, “Keep Close” Now at last The grave at its feet Drags me out to a freedom lit Torches shining in through the windows of my skin To my battled soul Even in my manner of speaking i wear the mask of magnificent smile; My troubles are over At last I move my world « return. |
