Who am I?
That now looks out through the eyes that once leered at me,
what vision of clarity, I now find hard to see.
I am the warmth that now fills the depths of your soul,
the mind you think you have is no longer in control.
I can make you feel stronger and wiser than you thought you can ever be,
I can make you Dream the Dreams far more than reality.
What craving and thirst you have as I lay right before your eyes,
Hypnotize, Mesmerize, the power I have control many of lives.
Some people love me because they hate me,
while others hate me because they love me.
I have many many names so call me what you like,
I'm always there for you, morning, noon, day and night.
My name you ask is not just one, but I'll tell you the one
I was given on the day that I was born.
Your life I will hold in the "Palms of my Hand,"
I can control any woman, child or man,
but, I don't ever want to know your name, cause if I do,
things for you, will never be the same.
