My Place in a Changing World Printable Version PRINTABLE VERSION

One of the most embraced platitudes of all time is that ‘the only thing that remains constant is change’. This aspect of man’s existence is unrestrained by predilection, and we are all pendulous to the effects of it. Particularly, I am penchant to discover stable ground in the anthill activities of the world, and find my appropriate place. The compulsion to do so is motivated by the learnt philosophy that my existence is an ephemeral one. Hence, I live my life to the fullest, in service to mankind, living each moment as it were my last.

Deepak Chopra, spiritualist author, says in one of his works entitled the
Seven Spiritual laws of success;
“Our existence is as transient as autumn clouds.
Watching the birth and death of beings is like watching
The sordid movements of a mirthless dance”

Life is not only transient, but it drifts by ever so swiftly when it is not utilized in a productive manner. Being cognizant of my transient existence, I expend my energies to the plethora of liberating experiences that life entails especially those that are directed towards making the world a better place. It would be farfetched if I desired to transform the world in one gigantic step of valour, but through an exemplary lifestyle, one worthy of emulation, I can be an epitome of positivism. I have an unrelenting zest for eventual happiness and achievement, so I search indefectibly for means of enhancing the human experience for myself and for my fellow man.

This changing world approaches me with many mesmerizing choices of lifestyles and philosophies, but I have a resolute aim, I and will not be deterred from my pointed focus. Therefore, I will use the talents I possess, those things I can do better than anyone else in this world, to make this chancing world a place of peaceful evolution, justly acquired wealth and success.

Essentially, three types of change occur in this world. There is technological change, economic change and ethical change. The technological aspect transforms impossibilities into possibilities; the economic builds while the ethical aspect of our lives takes a roller coaster ride. For this reason, youths like me, with a positive vision for the world, try hard to make our voices heard. After all, we too have a part to play. It’s our world too.
These changes influence my life, and their effects are not always positive. However if I see my challenges as chances to exploit the talents I have, then life transcends a struggle, and becomes the sheer learning experience it really is. The only limitation I have is that all of mankind does not think in the positive manner I do. Therefore it is my duty to spread the word of positivism, getting those around me to believe that all is for good, and to see the good in everything.

I was created to discover. Discovery requires belief, one that is untainted by the daily coercion of life. In fact disbelief does not exist in the world of discovery. Therefore, even when things are not always the way I expect them to be, I will relinquish my fear, and depend on divinity for unravel the jumbled mystery of life, always resting on the infinite possibilities that exist in every moment.

Reciprocity is the energy of existence; it keeps the systems of the world alive and vital. Giving is equal to receiving. Hence, if you keep positivism circulating in the world, we can endure the changes we encounter. With this knowledge, I can usher in endless possibilities, irrespective of the changes in our world. The logotype of my existence that causes it to be fascinating is the unknown. In the unknown, there is a world of possibilities to be discovered. This adds inveiglement to my place in the world, as my role is timeless.

I am but an eddy in the tides and convolutions of space, but my decision to live a life of pure reciprocity, wisdom and tenacity; I can make the change in the world more bearable.
Having, enunciated my place in this world, I now ride my pony into the sunset gone on the quest for eventuality, always bearing in mind “the future begins with the now.”
It is therefore with conviction and I strong sense of self that I make my brave lunge over the threshold of my newness, knowing that each step sees me that much closer to the achievement of my worthy goals.
