This isn’t the way to fulfillment
This is the way to anarchy
This is the way to strife,
Yes, it’s the way to destruction!

We weren’t born to walk this
Way – the way to nothingness
We weren’t weaned to construct
A worthless rider-coach

Nor were we bred to punch holes
In the profundity of survival
No, this isn’t the way, the way
No, this isn’t where our rainbows bow!

We’re betrothed to the burdensome
Knowledge of fulfillment
What it’s really all about
What it’s surely not all about;

The running brooks sing songs
Away from our mashed ears
Ephemeral as they appear if
We aren’t fulfilled to hold steadfast!
