Oh! sweet mother,fatherland.
Thou my lovely mother sweet.
sweet among apples and berries.
Serene like the young child in my hand.

Caress us your children that we may
laugh.
Let your seasoning meal nourish our body.
Bring gladness to our minds by tickling us.
Make them know you are our mother.
Our sweet mother that can kiss like no one.

when we are to run, we run to you.
when we need to ask, we ask you.
If be the time to laugh, we laugh together.
If be time to dance, we will hold hands
and dance.

you will ask, what all is this?
If not for the love, and care.
If not for your care, and caress.
You we ask,and you will answer.

Oh! sweet mother,my fatherland.
