The most important source of inspiration for the Junior Journal and such projects is the interaction between young people from completely different cultures and countries. In order to achieve such a project communication is neccessary and when you have to communicate with such a variety of people you will learn things about their culture.Consequently through the interaction you can gain a wealth of valuable knowledge and experience concerning other countries.

What are the elements of your ideal world?

I do not believe that the world will ever become completely ideal .The majority of ordinary people will always experience the hardship of life and the rat race..Peace, prosperity, health, end to poverty, equal opportunities in life , democracy are the elements of the ideal world for me.
The question i submitted was related to TV programmes taking into account the power this means has in shaping people's views and characters. The whole project was a good initiative to find out how young people think worldwide.

How are you informed about the things that you are involved in?

Jr Summit came up suddenly when the application form was passed to me from a relative who also by chance found it.Then the Junior Journal followed which emerged from the Jr summit. Again I picked the project at random and i was one of its founding members. Then all the other things came up as a result of my work in the JJ.It is a complicated issue.First of all I need to point out the difference between our educational system and the one of other countries. Here the system is very hard and if one takes things seriously it is sure that he does not have leisure time. Also on line activities hav enot got into our life-in fact they are beginning now- and school does not take into account that I , for example, am and editor in an online newspaper , something that would not sound natural in USA or Australia. Also young people are loaded with many foreigner language courses as we do not have the privilege of speaking English as a native language. We need to learn English , but we need to learna third language also.Unemployment is 11% and good qualifications are necessary.Under these circumstances there is a part of young people who have quitted like in every society. However i strongly believe that these are people who can do wonders if encouraged.

How has the technology revolution affected you and where do you think it's all going?

My involvement in computers began two years ago and now all these are a major part of my life.I do believe that technology is nether good nor bad.We are the ones who determine its use and make it good and bad.So we need to develop the sense of responsibility and learn how to use technology properly. If we learn this the technology revolution is a blessimg, but if we do not it is a curse. In the end all this is a double edged sword:proper use-good consequences, wrong use- bad consequenses.
It is a major problem. The Internet both connects and divides people. It connects its users but it excludes the poor who cannot afford it.Despite the many worldwide efforts being made the digital divide will never be bridged completely. Moreover there are people in this planet who do not have enough to eat; isn't it more logical to feed them first and then teach them the new technologies? Also, now that the internet has started reaching all countires it is old and outdated in a sense.Universities and companies are developing internet 2.I do not know if this will be successful but the sure thing is that the digital divide is of major importance and it reflects the inaqualities that exist in this world.
