Extremism in Islamic political movements
in modern age

When we talk about "Islam and Politics" raised many problems, starting from the terminology and concepts, We talk about "political Islam" to the fact that the nature of political Islam spoke confusion and confusion regard to the fact that the term dismember Islam as a religion which rejects followers, nor can talk about " fundamentalism "that the term is linked to the West primarily as it is a term fundamentalism in Islam means master who studied religion and science specialists in the fundamentals of Islam to draw jurisprudence, from here the use of the term" Islamic political movements "is more appropriate

It crystallized in30 of the twentieth century, the fundamental premises of contemporary Islamic thought and that ruled the evolution of successive political contexts and the fall of the Socialist system, especially the Soviet Union, has led to the eruption of global realities and new directions in the field of Islamic and escalating interest in the disposal of European domination in the strategic area in the picture revolutions for independence with the lack of alternatives found in the case of success
In contrast, it was considered "Islamic fundamentalism" as the greatest threat to regional stability in the Middle East and a threat to Western interests in the wider Muslim world; Iranian revolution and attacks on embassies, aircraft hijacking, hostage and carried by groups with names such as "Jihad", "Jund Allah , "and" Party of God ", was that there were signs of Islamic fighters on their way to a confrontation with the West, while Western leaders were trying to shaping the new world order escalated the idea of Islam as a new global enemy massed against the West.

This leads us to many questions ,

1. What are the most important principles of intellectual comprising these groups and from which to determine its approach and thought?
2. What internal and external factors that contributed to the deepening of extremism in these movements?
3. What is the future sustainability of these movements?.

Extremism in these movements did not arise from nothing, but there are many factors ;
These movements in a state of real contradiction, which is in its ideas and the resulting applications, which result primarily from: transformation and change in the Islamic political movements, which makes it more extreme in the modern era, or what is called the world Frenchman Francois BAYAR "Islamization of "summit is called a" collective frustrations "as a result of free political arena of alternatives successful systems of governance and corruption and frequent resort to force and the weak base of legitimacy and exacerbate social and economic crises of the widening disparities between social classes to the decline of unemployment and the standard of living that went a large number of Western theorists, including Marx to be considered economic and social deprivation reason to Alatnjah religion as a means to treat when crises.
In addition to the cause confusion in the Muslim (any confusion between the original meaning of certain words and meaning had played historically).
