Friendship is more than just a word,
It is a way of life.
Friendship transcends gender, age, race, experience and wealth
It is being an anchor in times of need.
Friendship is lending a helping hand,
it highlights the power of human connection.
Friendship is volunteering,
It is rising to the challenges of the times.
Friendship is seeking global peace and cultural appreciation,
It is the way of the future.
Friendship is striving to make a difference,
It is what the world needs more than ever.
Friendship is finding that heroe in you,
It is being a friend in need and indeed!

I agree, although sometimes it is not true. Chinese people and Black people are the target of the most racism. Even though friendship may bring us together, it cannot fill the gap between people of different cultures and colors. Me being brown, I have heard and seen wut racist people do. Some teachers I know, not to mention any names have shown racism towards me. Instead of looking at the differences why don't we look at the similarities? That is basically all I have to say, this poem is exactly what people should feel. In my opinion racism is anywhere and everywhere. We can't see it, but I am sure you know it is there. I just hope that it won't be for long.

Well, friendship is such a difficult thing to explain because the way one sees it is not the way the other might see it. So, friendship is dicy!
