  Poetry

i yawned at the delight
of today...
steadily, but unassuming,
i stood from my weary mat,
to watch the waking morn,
whip off the dark,
fearsome night.

It's a new day,
and a happy one.
Pause,
and watch me whistle,
my way through it...
i'll bathe the kids,
and run my errands
and work my work.
in a grand style.
Responsibly.
