“The life is our largest blessing,
The death is our only limit!”

When I was about 10 years old, I heard this sentence for the first time, and I had never forget...
She became the sentence of my life, not only to reach my objectives independent of their difficulties but also to recognize the great present that is to live.

Therefore, to live is my largest inspiration.

What are the elements of your ideal world?

The things that came to my mind were:

A world with peace, without discriminations (social, religious, racial,...), with social and economical development for all countries, without violence...
Though I better stop thinking because, unhappily, everything seems like Utopia and I don't like to think in Utopian things...

In a litle time ago, I learnt that always we have the choice : We can be part of the problem or we can be part of the solution. So, It´s clear that if you only show the problems without the possible solutions or only imagine the ideal world, we’ll be part of the problem…

On that thought, I wonder what would happen if all of us realized that the solution is in our hands!
It is serious! And the keyword can be love!
I begin to live with love, to treat the people with love, to do my work with love, make decisions with love, use in each attitude of my life some love, I will modify the world around me. It can be a "small world", but I will...
But if each one of us, and mainly if people that have the power of a simple community to a whole nation made that,...

Each painel participant had to do five questions, and this questions would be changed as needed.
So, these are the questions that I submited:

Questions to Student Underground Youth Panel

Question:

Question:

5) The violence is a serious social problem to all countries around the world. It degrades the life quality mainly in big cities. In your opinion what is the best solution to this:

b) create a better social political program that provide education, health, jobs, etc.

c) stimulate the sport practice mainly in poor society

d) more security, increase the police force and create more severe laws

But only one of these five questions would be chosen to the painel questions, so my first question was: In which aspect the Internet more modified your life? Would it be in your business world? Education world? Your daily life (relationship, going shopping / banking) ? Didn’t it change anything?

And the reason could just be given with the following question: Would you get to imagine a world event as big as Planet Project without the use of the Internet?

But, it was really difficult to choose a question. There are so many things that not only me, but everybody want to ask to the world, to have the world opinion, and mainly, to compare these opinions.

So, my first step, was to wonder what is affecting and, especially, it can come to cause an impact still larger hereafter in the people's daily life all over the world. And besides, thinking about it using my life, my experience of life…

Thinking on that, it is easy to arrive the conclusion that the Internet is one of the most important technological revolutions for the people's life. In less than 5 years, it already modified the life of millions people around the world. She acts much more than a source of information or space for entertainment, she is an extremely powerful way of communication, of learning, of doing business, of human relationship, and much more than this, it made possible a way totally new to live, without physical limitations and without geographical barriers...

As you know, my job and my studies, nowadays, are based in the new aplications to the Internet and I consider this a very important question because, it is clear that much more than to know the Internet impact, it is important to begin to think in the consequences of this impact. Will it bring advantages to all countries, to the development and to the underdevelopment countries? Can anyone enjoy the thousands of resources and means that the Internet provides? Will we have once again a "excluded mass" that only tends to increase?

For all this, I could not move away my question of this technological world. And also because, intelligence and creativity are qualities that fascinate me. The man gets to prove once again that his capacity to invent, to build and to revolutionize the world through these is infinite and at the same time incredibly growing. How many of us no longer asked: What more lack to invent? Is it not impossible to go beyond?

And every day we have the answer, we have the proof that we are not limited beings, we have an immense intelligence and creativity to go always further on, and consequentely to not only change the world, but also to make a better world...In my professional life and my studies, I read specific magazines, I participate of Congress and lectures, I talk with more experienced people than me and I use the Internet resources to get information.
In my workgroups, as Academic Center to discuss problems and to give suggestions about our course and the University in itself, we used a lot of discussion list through e-mail and forum through Internet.
In the other things, I usually use newspapers, television and Internet.

What do you see when you look at the youth in your country?

It´s so difficult to answer, because here we have so different “kinds of youth”.
But, I usually see people by the way they work with problems (your own problems, or the problems that affect your city and until your country). Thinking on that, I think I could divide in three types:
1- Young that try to flee of the problems (simply ignoring them or through the drugs, alcohol,...)
2- Youth that look for the solution through the radicalism
3-Youth that look for a balanced solution

Unhappily, I don´t think that the most of brazilian youngs is of the “third type”, neither the “second type”. In my opinion, the most flee to the addiction life or to the criminality because of their bad quality life, on the other hand, the others ignore or they fake the inexistence of the problems. For example: they think that they will be protected of the greenhouse effect because his father will pay for that, and they don't realize that his life quality at a long time already comes been degraded. As you know, the technology is totally present, in my studies, in my work, in in my day by day, in my life.

I use to say that each new technology is like an addiction.
Before you to "try her" finds completely useless.
After "proving her" once, you doesn't get more to live without her.

I think it was already clear for all that it is impossible to delimit where the technological discoveries will stop . At least, I can't do that and I doubt from any forecast about it. Simply, because those discovered are a man's fruit, and I consider the human mind something without barriers and totally unexpected.

But, what worries me, or better, I prefer to believe that, nowadays, all of the technological inventions have as objective, to improve and to facilitate in some way the people's life. And, histories as the bomb-atomic and the own Internet (initially used in wars purposes) are an exception and no more they will repeat.

How do you see the digital divide affecting development (social, political, economic) around the world?

When I read this question I laughed a lot ( J ), because I usually ask that question...
The "digital exclusion" is a reality, what we have to do is to give solutions to reduce that. Because, the consequences, mainly, in the countries less developed will be drastic (economically and socially).

Then, when I ask that question, I usually ask for a solution. And of all answers that I had, the most coherent was of a great technology company:
"We don't have more as allowing that just a small portion of the world population is users (consumers) of technology, that is harmful for us as for the excluded population too. We have to invest in projects that take the technology reality for that population...”

In my opinion, It's has to happen, and the beginning of everything has to be bringing technology to the public schools of the low-income population.
