I will take you to the river bank
Where the breeze is cold and fresh
No spy will look
Between the palm trees
But the tree will dance
For I will sing you
A love jingle
With the long tolling of a bell
Because you love me
I will sing endlessly
And my sweet and imploring song
Will compel the nightingale
To sing with me
At the river bank
