There Beneath The Flower Printable Version PRINTABLE VERSION

There beneath the flowers
Lay my brother
Young ... in his 20 golden years
Dressed in cold soil around his handsome face
He smiled his handsome smile

That morning .. sun hid behind gray clouds
He lifted me up on his shoulder
Gave his white handkerchief to wipe my tears
His riffle on his back cold against my cheek

There under the green banana tree
Waved my brother for the last time

All I know ...
Hot iron bird made a nest inside his chest
As he waved bravely in battlefield
Under the swaying of red and white flag

There under the big tree
I said good bye to my handsome brother
Sun still hide behind the same gray cloud
But I walk bravely into the battle field
With the flag on my hand

There beneath the flowers
He smiled his handsome smile
