A Pretty Little Bird Printable Version PRINTABLE VERSION

A bird always wanted to fly
High and high in the sky, wanted to feel the breeze
And smell the aroma of wind
The bird was the prettiest among all,
& her parents used to love her a lot
“It’s not good for our pretty lil bird to fly in that wind
& destroy her glowing, beautiful wings”
Then one night while looking at the stars
she blamed God for all this,
she cried & decided never to forgive Him
Suddenly God appeared to her and said firmly
“Why are you blaming me dear, I’ve given you everything
From caring and loving family to beautiful and strong wings
You are blessed with all superior things
Instead of saying ‘I want to, say I am going to’
she opened her eyes;
and saw the rising sun in the sky
she flew high and high without looking back,
Her parents were proud to see her like that
that pretty bird touched all the heights,
& God was happy to see her shine like the moon in the night.
