The young people are very important people in a nation, they are the future leaders and parents of a nation therefore they are the backbone of a country and the world at large.

In my opinion the youths play a very important role in building the economy of a nation. They are young and energetic, they are the workers in most industries for instance in Kenya approximately 80% of the labour force consist of the youths.

In most developing countries youths views are neglected and yet they are the ones who build the nation, why should we sit back and wait to be led by the old people,we can make it only if we join hands and work together to build the world.

As youths we can empower the economy of a nation by being loyal to the home countries, work hard to achieve the best for ourselves as well as for our countries. We have the potential to improve one country's economy but this is achievable only if we work with determination and optimism so as to achieve the best.

If all the young people in a nation are well educated, i.e they all pursue professional courses, then that particular country will have all the manpower needed in various fields and the economy of that nation will improve. Therefore we should find ways to educate even the less fortunate ones and encourage them to work.

On the other hand, Youths are sometimes also failures to the economy of a nation because most of the criminals are youths and this is mainly on the grounds of drug abuse. Most youths in the world are drug addicts and therefore they end up being criminals and unproductive. This really drops the economic status of a nation and therefore it becomes AN ISLAND OF AFFLUENCE IN SEAS OF POVERTY meaning that the resources are available but people in that country are dying of poverty. In this context I mean that the youths who are the builders of a nation are in plenty but only a few are productive.

In conclusion I would like to urge all the young people in the world to join hands and remove all the weaknesses that are bringing down the economy of a nation as a result of the youths.

YOUTHS LETS JOIN HANDS AND BUILD THE ECONOMIES OF OUR NATIONS,WE ARE THE BACKBONES OF OUR NATIONS.
