I feel your pain, big brother! Printable Version PRINTABLE VERSION

Health   Poetry

His world folding up before his eyes,
his eyes were most times turned up to the sky.
Not even a consideration of the least of all,
all that mattered to all was his fall.

Of a truth, he had been informed
but chose not to be conformed.
He had perused many female anatomy
through the way he had been out of his mummy.

His family value was "Abstain"
but his was "I can't abstain cos I can't retain"
And each time he went, he had no cover
Faced with the virus, life seemed over.

Of a truth, many choose to learn the hard way
and later on have a lot to pay.
He had gone a very wrong way
And to those who care no more, he's got lot to say

"The HIV virus kills my body as a whole
but stigmatization kills my soul.
Even if i am gradually losing my life,
believe me, i can still strive.

Of a truth, I can't stand losing you my family
cos with you I could still live happily"
And to him I said "I'll be there for you brother"
"I feel your pain, big brother!"
