True Religion
Religion is the answer for the world;
A sequence of spiritual myths and tales;
A moral path to transcend;
A message of hope after the very end.
Religion gives breath to those who gasp,
And for people to do good to the very last,
For that is why we are all here,
To find out truth and the flesh to spear.
Religion is a path and a road to ultimate truth,
No matter what slant your faith takes.
Morality and love makes the proudest person not aloof,
And the meekest person is saved for mankind’s sake.
Religion unifies nations and opens up doors,
It allows you to cry and to pull your broken body off the floor.
It allows for progress and human evolution,
And offers billions of people the final solution.
Religion stands tall even if humanity may fall,
Whenever we sin we can always heed its call.
It makes us strong so nonviolence can prevail,
And allows love to flourish so on the ocean of peace all can sail.
Religion teaches us a way of life that benefits you and them,
It allows you to relate and talk to them.
It is a bonding between the strong and the weak,
As the tough help tug and pull up the meek.
Religion kick started mankind’s search for answers,
When we saw beyond the jungle floor.
It held us together in times of true strife,
But too many times has it been misused to open fights.
True Religion bonds, it never destroys or distances,
Except when evil creeps in to crack it on insistence.
True Religion has love flowing through its viens,
To feed all with open embrace, all the faiths, in the true brotherhood of man.
True Religion defeats extremists and opens up your door,
To train the searchlight on your inner-self, to tour
Your deeds objectively, and correct them in-line with God’s will.
True Religion is nonviolence in good spirit, and cure for the world’s ills.
True Religion is true compassionate morals,
It never allows the festering of quarrels,
True Religion is not for others, who seem to be true,
True Religion is deep down, within and for you!
