THE DEVELOPMENT OF MAN

The development of man has been widely influenced by geographical factors that surround him thus, making humans around the world different in their respective fields.

The development of Africa has altered the fields of traditions and agriculture. Africans are good at weaving and farming, Africans also believe in the existence of ancestral gods. This is due to the geographical factors around them. They are nearer to agricultural resources. Areas of Africa are rich in vegetation and rivers. Therefore many
Africans became farmers, hunters, fishermen and weavers. The harsh weather and climate in early Africa made Africans to believe in the existence of ancestral gods. They believed that an angry god caused any misfortune therefore to appease the god a sacrificial ritual was performed.

There are many cultures and traditions in Africa. Those from Northern
Africa adapted to hunting while West Africans are farmers and fishermen due their nearness to the rivers.

The development of the western world and Africa differs in that the early days Africans were busy looking for ways to develop their skills in there aforesaid fields. Americans and Europeans were inventing technological machines to be used for wars. They were war aggressive because of the area in which they lived in. They lived in an area that could be easily invaded, thus making weapons helped prepared them for invaders.
Africans on the other side lived in a remote and inaccessible area making them to be less warlike.

In Addition, Americans and Europeans had the opportunity to learn from the outside world. They were informed about the latest styles in politics, technology and science because they lived in a plain and accessible area while the Africans were not informed about the latest style in politics and other Industry. The Western world was not as good as Africans in Bush activities like fishing, hunting, and some laborious tasks, this being a factor of their geographically environment.

Another factor that has affected the development of man is the natural ingenuity in which he is endowed with. African is better in arts than many other nations. They have the talent of singing, acting, carving, speaking, and other artistic activities than American. While the Americans’ ingenuity lies in the act of inventing technological materials, science, economy, and politics. African Americans whose ancestry is from Africa are leaders in the Entertainment Industry. Though born in America and African American still carries his African traits. Like Africans, African Americans has the natural talent for the art of speaking but his natural ingenuity will lie in the American trait.

Writer Profile
Damilare

Just like my name Damilare, depicts, I have been set free from all odds of life.
Most of my works are based on Africa. I love Africa so much. My love for this great land is not based its hypocritical admiration by some people. But based on the realization of her past mistakes and to make Her great in future.
I was born and grew up in a tough part of the world. My family is a free type where everyone chooses what he/she wants. This has made me liberal in my thoughts.
I get happy when I read works of Great Black people, especially their works on pan-Africanism.
My regret in life is that; I have not read the works of Marcus Garvey and Du Bois!
