The importance of being earnest How universal it may be Thunderbolts it struck me as I yet again wanted to flee Flee from what I wanted, what I needed Flee from my own me. Infinite postponing of one's true desires creates a pending suspension. No not suspension, just plain tension forget the pending, it hacked my inner well - being. I thought it brave to turn to masochist I thought it wise to turn to deprivation I though I was thinking and yet I was not I was scared to hear my own voice Society oppressed me, my reputation reigned supreme Perhaps the external has a point But my own essence need not be neglected It needs affection, attention, adherence The importance of being real is the real topic I would say To love and to live is my current mission I tell pray Thank you emancipation Thank you reality Thank you love Thank you earnest Thank you myself « return. |
