Everyone has a role model, for some it may be a athlete, a rock star or any other famous person. But me, I have none of those as role models. Want to know who's my role model? ME! Yes, me. Read more to know why... I make it happen. I do my thing, and I know what I want and how to get what I want. I don't know what you can attain by watching a singer sing or ball player toss a ball around... Inspiration, you think? But why rely on someone that doesn't even know I exist for inspiration. It's like saying ice cubes are hot and fire is cold..it doesn't make ANY sense whatsoever. The reason why I say I am my own role model is because no one can help me to get where I want to go BUT ME. I inspire myself to do and be better in what I do. I learn from my triumphs and mistakes and you can't get realer than that. Every one's different, so if I become a top athlete, or a awesome singer, I'm still going to be ME. So who better to learn from other than me? Besides, why would I want to admire someone who uses drugs or is a total ass in real life? Get real. I'm not full of myself. I'm just a girl who knows exactly what to expect of herself without the assistance of others. When I think of Role Model, I think of imitation. When you say this person is my role model, you're pretty much implying that you want to be EXACTLY like him/her, because you have so much respect for what he/she does. And nothing is wrong with having respect, but, it's 2007, you should already know that being your own role model is cooler than any famous person. I am Miss.Racquel and I am my own role model. « return. |
