Our History

In 1999, a small group of healthcare students from Cardiff University began to develop a project, working with children in an orphanage in Belarus. Since then, SKIP has grown to be an international global health education charity, having carried out work across multiple continents.

Our Current Work

Following the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been working to re-shape SKIP and its’ work. Our trustee team have been developing a new charity structure, ensuring sustainability and compatibility with the rapidly expanding global health field.

Our Plans

We are now relaunching the charity with our first project in years! Our first round of recruitment has seen a group of highly skilled and motivated professionals join the charity and begin work on our Mental Health Programme.
