The screams drain away.
Somewhere brakes squeal.
A small, colourful kite failing to fly on, falls to the ground with a sudden flop.
A little, terrified girl looks up to the sky and catches the first raindrop of the year into a small clenching hand.
Why is it raining momma?
Because the Angels are crying, girl, the Angels are crying...
