It comes calling
When you least expect,
Doesn’t need you to believe
Because it bends you to its whims,
Makes you do things,
That you’d fear to think,
It overthrows principles,
With its scary realities
Makes a child out of an adult,
Its pure yearnings unifies,
When felt by two alike
Words cease to be,
Just the silence suffices
Minds reach out in volumes.

I come alive when I write and the feeling that those few lines may impact positively on a soul unknown to me or even elicit a smile makes it a worthwhile endeavour.
