What inspires you?

Life in itself is an inspiration. Stop for just a moment, wherever you are and look around, something is always happening. Sometimes it may not seem so at first but... feel that breeze, the air is moving, going somewhere to affect someone... ey, that woman has missed her bus, will she let it ruin her day?... there is so much happening around us, makes me know that we are part of a much bigger plan and so should do our part.

Life is my inspiration.

Tell us about an issue that matters to you and how you became aware and involved.

The issue that has affected me the most is safety issues for girls and/or women. As a girl there are many things we are not taught in school about what will meet us in the outside world, real life, relationships, surviving in a 'mans world', being a positive change, that our role in this world is not to be defined and so on.

As a new girl abroad, I found myself facing challenges no one ever told me about. I felt stupid, naive and even put my life in danger just because no one ever told me or showed me. To change this, I used the online platform to inform girls worldwide on safety issues using the website www.safetyfirstforgirls.org

Share your perspectives on what makes a good leader.

A good leader does not try to be a leader. A good leader is someone who understands the greater need within each individual and channels the need in a way that each individual will develop without hindering the growth of others.

A leader knows that every One counts.
