"ImaginARTE" is a project planned especially for children from 10 to 16 years old. We offer art workshops where the students may take arts as a method of expression, to say what they think and feel, share ideas and different points of view. By doing this, the students start to create an identity; they grow up and mature, and start to develop critical thinking about what’s happening in their environment. In addition, we promote the exchange of cultures, because the teachers who will give these students the workshops will be from other countries, and that’s where change happens too. That the people who come sink in our culture and share their own. So this cultural exchange is much more interesting, much richer. At first, we are going to work with one school in Lima, and five trainees who will be teaching, but we hope that this project can grow hugely and impact positively many more lives.
