What inspires you?

I'm a Tech Enthusiast, Volunteer. I have a high curiosity for learning. I love Art and Entertainment! & I believe that life is a Challenge.

Tell us about an issue that matters to you and how you became aware and involved.

Social innovation is an opportunity to spread the ideas that worth being applied in real life to make the planet a better place to live :). You never know how a simple doodling can lead to an idea, that same idea being told to a social entrepreneur or just another individual might just make life of thousands easier or save them. My point is that shared minds are more powerful always, that is why I see social ventures as a place to throw in all my ideas that I think would make a difference.

Share your perspectives on what makes a good leader.

My Project was about Crowdsourcing in the Northern region of Iraq where businesses and tourism have been growing faster than ever. Overall Iraq is sometimes counted as a third world country, this includes lacking of the proper communication infrastructure for a decent Internet connection. I started with a mobile application for this purpose, basicly my application is reporting in a simple way by the users while on the technical side with a complex action to make the data smaller to be sent through the Edge Service (The lowest efficient service that can be found in the Area). Thus private sectors as companies like DHL can use the traffic reports to facilitate deliveries, and for Public sectors such as Hospitals, it can be used as a basic source for emergency cases to find a faster route. It can be interpreted for many kinds of resources depending on the customers need. However, this is not the first time for me to do a project such as that, but due to lack of enough support, team members and fund for the project to continue, it falls behind the schedule and dies slowly on a cold SATA Hard Drive :).

What obstacles have you faced thus far? What is your ultimate goal for this project or venture?

Team members that are interested and willing to take this project to the next step. And as usual Funding is huge obstacle for every start up unless it's be held by a campaign or for a entity.

How do you use technology as part of your project?

Technology is the essence of this project, by means of Microsoft technologies that I have been exposed to so far, I used mainly Bing, Windows Phone and a couple of more important SDK's that were available from Microsoft.

What project by another I4G member inspires you?

Most of the projects are inspiring to me, I liked the idea of "ImaginARTE", art and learning can be so much fun, and that motivates children mostly to learn more. I believe in the project "Solvee" that one day it will be something amazing, the goal behind "Solvee" makes it stand out sooner or later. "Umbalah" is an innovative way to advertise, and I'm a big fan of AR, but I just don't see how it can enable that bit of help and encouragement as the other projects. Project "Handi-Mart" is thrilling as well. All the competitors have a different and unique way of solving a real life problem (which is awesome), I wish all of them heading to the next step with new plans and success.

Do you think TakingITGlobal can help you achieve some of your goals? Have we already? Please tell us how.

If I could, I would visit either Harvard Square where Harvard University and M.I.T campuses are, or San Francisco Bay Area in Northern California ,known as "Silicon Valley" . This is where great minds meet, and that is just when the spark happens. The Birth place for many great ideas in technology and science, that nowadays are completing the missing parts of our lives.
