What inspires you?

I get inspired by people who are considered as unable to do big things in the society,becoming socially prominent by touching people's hearts.This builds me a sense of 'I can' and in return I set goals to touch other people's hearts by sharing the small i have.And as for today I am really inspired by Oprah.

Tell us about an issue that matters to you and how you became aware and involved.

HIV/AIDS touches me. I became aware of this issue when my aunt was a victim at my early age(9),the sufferings she went through made me realize that she was in pain. I was always there, and I remember telling her in swahili,'utapona' that is 'you will get better' But when she died three months later,things changed. I was ever touched when i meet AIDS victims but I always tell them AIDS is not death but a SEXUAL TRANSMITTED DISEASE.

Share your perspectives on what makes a good leader.

Being there at people's service and not them serving you. A good leader has a giving heart and always considers the people s/he is leading prior, this way relationship between the leader and the led becomes mutual hence people become satisfied. Interests of the leader do not make the orders but become opinions,then that is a good leader.

Yes it can and it has already. I have been reading the global issues which explain on social concerns about health,envinronment,education,the media,technology and even human rights. In my country,it is hard to come across such a thing as for many of us are not so much aware of such issues until I visited TakingITGlobal then I am now confident enough to start a discussion at school about health issue because i have enough facts.
