What inspires you?
Many people volunteering with TIG, expressing their views of achievement and telling they could make a difference in their community are being my inspiration. For me it could be something someone said or something I’ve seen.
Community's and country's pathetic condition and my courage to do something for them is being my inspiration in the other hand.
Tell us about an issue that matters to you and how you became aware and involved.
Issues related to diseases, poverty, health status which are being worsened day by day in my country really matters me. I am in search of platform that helps to make difference in my community and its people.
These pathetic issues really pinched me and is trying to learn something that helps to make me capable to pass through it and organize peace in my county. This is why i am involved and will really achieve through this platform.
Share your perspectives on what makes a good leader.
My view of good leader is someone who knows how to cooperate, coordinate and collaborate. There is no mystique to leadership, great leaders are not born nor are they specifically gifted at authorizing people. They are simply people who are passionate about being a great leader and they are willing to do the little things that matter. That's what makes a good leader. Doing simple thing in extraordinarily is how leader is represented.
Do you think TakingITGlobal can help you achieve some of your goals? Have we already? Please tell us how.
Of course a big YES!
TIG is really a good platform that focuses on global issues by promoting awareness and engagement among global youth. I have achieved some of my targets through TIG.
My interest in online volunteering started out as a casual activity. One of my class mates was my inspiration for using TIG. My path to TIG began in 2008, when I was 20, and got experience a lot within a short period of time. I started volunteering for TIG in 2009, mostly to try to make a difference. When I got involved with TIG I wanted to start a project in my country but I had no idea how to make the first step, after a while, I got chance to take a sprout e-course which helped me to learn about various project designs, plans, connections and assessments, as a result, I really learned things that were precious and later launched a project “Let’s Change”, funded by YSA. This was my first and wonderful experience I gained ever.
