What inspires you?

I am inspired by many different things but the one that stands out the most by youth taking action i just feel that it doesn't matter how small the work you do is and how many people you help as long as i see youth taking action and trying to make this world a better place.

Tell us about an issue that matters to you and how you became aware and involved.

HIV and AIDS infected and affected individuals matters to me most.I learnt about HIV and AIDS during my frist year at tertiary and i use to see young people worrying t-shirts written if you need a shoulder to cry on call me and i will help ease the pain.So i researched about the group and found out that there were a group of peer councellor helping the youth deal with challenges they face everyday in their lives in the campus and then HIV was a major issue so i got trained as a peer educator and councellor then later i got invovled in community ourtreach programmes and motivational speaking

Share your perspectives on what makes a good leader.

In my perspective what makes a good leader is some one who is a good follower and team player because i believe that even if you are a leader you are still part of a team and in order for your team to succeed they have to feel value and appreciated not forgeting understood.Also a good leader must be a good listener,good example meaning you must practice what you preach and lead by example,a good leader must inspire,educate and motivate his or her team.

Yes,i think TIG can help me achieve my future goals as i am still young i need motivation and inspiration from other peers also i believe that my help doesn't only end in South Africa because my country is only a small piece of the puzzle and there are a lot of people who will need my help in whateva issues they face in the world and the world belongs to all of us and its our responsibility to make the world a better place.
