What inspires you?

I'm really inspired by the youth who despite their age accomplished a lot to help other and contribute to the positive change and development in our world. I'm also inspired by all the people that strongly fight for their causes especially for peace and a better world like Ghandi, Mandela and the 14th Dalai Lama.

Tell us about an issue that matters to you and how you became aware and involved.

The issue that I’m involved in is the HIV/AIDS prevention among my fellow youth; I'm a Trainer and really passionate by sharing the knowledge that I gained through various training and experiences. While talking about HIV/AIDS prevention we can talk about violence, gender equality, leadership and global development. I strongly believe if we strengthen youth and give them the appropriate information they will make responsible choices for their sexual life.

Share your perspectives on what makes a good leader.

To become a leader we need experience in our field and life in general, people should trust you and believe in you for that you MUST believe in you and trust your inner capacities. I think that a leader have to listen more than to talk and to share more then to keep for himself. A good leader is some how is more likely to take the right decision in right time. A leader has to mange a team and make sure that all member make the most of their skills

Do you think TakingITGlobal can help you achieve some of your goals? Have we already? Please tell us how.

Sure, TIG is a great tool, I heard about relevant opportunities through my membership in TIG groups and projects. In our NGO we use the TIG group as a main mailing list. And I discovered new countries, cultures and issues that I wasn't much involved in. The blog’s discussion are very informative and constructive, we can see a same issue from different perspective.
