What inspires you?
People, who move through life's trials unscathed, inspire me. These people do not submit to life’s pressures but challenge them with shear passion and determination to go on. From the experiences of others, I myself have become strengthened to move forward in life and help create positive change in the lives of others. We all have the ability and opportunity to make a difference in the lives of all those who are suffering and in need of help.
Life is a long journey and all that matters is whether you live your life and make that journey memorable or you just survive to complete that journey. It's a rough road that many people don't enjoy but i tread on with the courage of one who knows what they want in life.
Tell us about an issue that matters to you and how you became aware and involved.
The issues that matter to me most are youth employment and empowerment. I was once faced with the challenge of being unemployed, I decided to get involved with Compassionate Acts International, a non-profit organization in Nairobi, where I learned how to start up my own small to medium size organization. Later, as a result of an academic scholarship, I was able to get involved with the United Nations Development Projects (UNDP), One Stop Information and Youth Resource Centre-Nairobi, and Rotaract Club Nairobi Central (a subsidiary of the Rotaract Club International) where I had the opportunity to work with and engage like-minded youth. In Kenya, unemployment remains a challenge but for sure the youths (educated and not-educated) can rise above these challenges and come up with their own initiatives and empower themselves.

Thoughts On Leaders...
Leaders must have courage to take decisions, and followers must have the courage to do as they are told.
Disagreement is not disloyalty. Disobeying is. A Leader is disloyal to his followers if he does not back them up to his fullest ability. A person that has another view should be allowed to explain it.
...Indeed leaders and followers should listen. Neither should show any bias, even if the explanation is unusual and seems unsound. Attempts should be made to understand the divergent view.
Leaders should be able to manage their own emotions and those of their followers. If a leader is devastated by a failed deadline or target, he is not inspiring enough to energize his followers to better performance the next time around.
A leader should feel for the individuals in his care. By doing so, he ensures loyalty from his followers.
A leader should lead by personal example. Only an energetic leader can enthuse a group of followers to be energetic. An energetic group of followers is a dynamic, productive and result-oriented group of followers.
A successful leader is one that does well when things are going well and does better when things get rough. Persistence in the face of difficulty is essential.
Above all ...........A Leader should ... LEAD....
