Tell us about an issue that matters to you and how you became aware and involved.

Poverty Alleviation is what keeps me awake at night.
My current initiative is setting up a local community newspaper in a rural village and this involves a lot of research and training as this is something I have never done- I just felt that while it is easy for people who lead communities to sit in boardrooms and discuss peoples livelihoods, very little feedback is received from the same people. My dream is to reach the grassroots, deep rural community members who feel their opinion is not important. I want to remind them that they too have a voice and shouldn't allow poverty, illiteracy, unemployment, abuse, TB/HIV infection silence them. They belong in a community.
