What inspires you?

In 2009 I gave birth to a boy at 17 years old, and to everybody's surprise I finished college and was accepted to University. I founded a website for teenage parents to encourage young mothers to continue their education after they have babies, as well as providing information on issues related to them. This website also received funding from O2! In addition I am a member of a youth led charity in the UK that represents the South East of England. I am currently in my second year of university studying Business administration. Finally, my dream is to run a multi-million dollar company and make people happy.

Tell us about an issue that matters to you and how you became aware and involved.

To me social innovation means improvement, whether it retains to a company through finding new strategies, or it’s an individual with a new concept that will benefit them or others.

Although I have many projects, I have been working for about six months on a website for young parents that will serve as a community. This website acts as a place where young parents can find information on going back to school, work, and a place where they can express themselves and chat to other parents. The project is mainly online and requires great website design, which may come with a big price tag.

I have so many places, but it would have to be India because I'd like to know more about their culture, which they have managed to preserve for so long.
