What inspires you?

I am a technical professional currently working as System Developer in SoftwarePeople, Dhaka. I have graduated in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Dhaka 2 years ago. Beside my profession I am active in various technical communities. I have participated in the Microsoft Imagine Cup in 2010 and 2011. My team was awarded 3rd Position in the National Software Design Category in the Imagine Cup 2011. I also participated in the APAC Microsoft Innovate4Good Summit. In addition, I love to write technical articles and poetry.

Tell us about an issue that matters to you and how you became aware and involved.

Social Innovations are initiatives that help to overcome the challenges people face within social development (Environment, Education, Economic etc.) and those who work for the benefit of social good. For me, social innovation is for the social well-being and a means of finding the best possible way for people to live on earth.

Share your perspectives on what makes a good leader.

My Project is WEarth, a web portal that I have been working on for the last year and a half. It’s centers around location based social awareness. This location based social network allows people to participate and collaborate with each other and to collectively create location based awareness.
