What inspires you?

My inspiration in life is simply propelled by what I call the " I can do ability," the ability to listen and the ability to look beyond the surface, the ability to perceive and the ability to resolve. Every thing we see on earth today is as a result of the action someone somewhere at a certain time thought about and decided to act upon, not relegating his abilities to just wishful thinking. My inspiration simply put is my God giving ability to change the world for good.

Tell us about an issue that matters to you and how you became aware and involved.

The world as we know has gone through lots of ups and downs, and it can only take the effort of those who have the mind of doing the seemingly impossible to act and get a lasting solution. I am challenged by the fact that man lives just once then judgement follows. The only reason I am alive today is not just to live a successful life but to help others attain greatness and put lasting smiles on their faces. The sufferings in the world today is too cumbersome for the people out there to bear; what they need is a certain kind of mentality that can propel them out of any thing holding them captive and that is the message of love. The love elaborated here is not just the mere say of I love you but the sacrificial type of love that compasses mortal knowledge.

Share your perspectives on what makes a good leader.

A leader is someone who is willing to fight a good course not for himself but for the well being and improvement of humanity. What makes a good leader is the ability lead others achieve a goal that wouldn't have happened otherwise. A leader must be
self-Aware: to have an intimate knowledge of ones inner emotional state. You know your strengths and your weaknesses. You know when you’re working in flow and you know when you’re over worked. You know yourself, including your capabilities and your limitations, which allows you to push yourself to your maximum potential.
Self-Direction: You’re able to direct yourself effectively and powerfully. You know how to get things done, how to organize tasks and how to avoid procrastination. You know how to generate energy for projects, to calm yourself when angered. You can make decisions quickly when necessary, but can also slow to consider all the options on the table.
Visions:You’re working towards a goal that’s greater than yourself. It could be something small, like the success of the team, or a larger vision like world peace. As a leader Working towards a vision is far more inspiring than working towards personal gain.
Ability to Motivate: Leaders don’t lead by telling people what they have to do. Instead, leaders cause people to want to help them. A key part of this is cultivating your own desire to help others. When others sense that you want to help them, they in turn want to help you.
Social Awareness: Understanding social networks and key influencers in that social network is another key part of leadership. Who in the organization has the most clout, both officially and unofficially? Who moves the hearts of the group? This is another kind of attribute of a good leader and many more, I believe any good leader can start off with what's listed here.

As a platform structured especially for young people TIG has helped me showcase to the world what I have got to offer them; one thing is to have something to share and another thing is the environment or platform to air them out through. TakingITGlobal has done a lot of good work but I would further like is organizing seminars or conferences at-least twice a year for people across the globe to come together to share their views and learn from each other.
