What inspires you?

I am inspired by so much things that I couldn't write them all, the major part of them are related to health, sciences, environment and music. However, what definitely inspires me the most is the world solidarity. I am planning to leave for Costa Rica on January 2011 for an anthropology/biology project and I hope it will permit me to widen my vision of what are the real issues in the world as poverty, environmental crisis and human exploitation.

Tell us about an issue that matters to you and how you became aware and involved.

What matters to me the most is the lack of education in underdeveloped countries. I believe that if we want to stop poverty and violence in these populations, we should help them to take charge of themselves.

Education, I think, is the most beautiful gift you could give to someone, it offers the liberty to do whatever you want and everybody should have access to this privilege.

Share your perspectives on what makes a good leader.

Many definitions could describe a good leader. For me, it's someone who makes the right decisions for the interests of all the society and not for a specific part of it. He can deal with pressure, and you can rely on him when you don't exactly know what is right to do.

Do you think TakingITGlobal can help you achieve some of your goals? Have we already? Please tell us how.

I hope so! I really do like the fact that TakingITGlabal permits worldwide interactions and I believe that it will help, even though it's not for much, to resolve some of the global issues. Every person's involvement can make the difference.
