What inspires you?

The main thing that inspires me is Laughter. It is the epitome of our joy as a people and is shared by all. It is the true sign that our actions have reaped positive rewards. When we hear laughter, especially of children we know that our people are happy. That should be our goal, to be happy and spread laughter, those that do that are indeed inspirational.

Tell us about an issue that matters to you and how you became aware and involved.

Poverty is an issue that matters to me and should matter to everyone. Indeed it is a broad topic of concern but if I was to make a focus I would like to see more micro-financing and helping start sustainable businesses across the globe. It is my hope that every man, woman, and child will climb out of the pit of poverty rather than the pit becoming deeper and deeper.

Share your perspectives on what makes a good leader.

A good leader has great ideas, and is able to listen to great ideas and most importantly put those ideas into plans and actions. A good leader will sacrifice for, care deeply about and energize their team. Similarly they will care about their ideas and get as many people who share these ideas and goals to join their team and share these leadership traits.

I think TIG is a great place to get the message across, meet with great people and learn better ways to enhance our projects. From a micro level to a macro level we only follow in the path of others. So I think that in order to attain some greatness, success or simply knowledge; TIG is a key tool. We work as hard as we can in our little towns and places but we do need to Take It Global to enact change for the better.
