What inspires you?

I get inspired when I see my efforts helping other young people help themselves. When children and young people are taken off the streets and taken back to school, I get inspired that my efforts of rehabilitating the next generation of leaders by providing them with the most important thing in life, "education" will see so many children off the streets and a generation that will be generous to support others get off the streets and be responsible leaders in our society.

Tell us about an issue that matters to you and how you became aware and involved.

The issue that matters to me is education. With education, we shall be able to reduce poverty and increase the living standards of people that will result from skills gained. With education, ignorance is reduced and capacity of people to grasp ideas is enhanced.

Share your perspectives on what makes a good leader.

To be a good leader, one must be ready to listen, empathize, ready to accept his/her mistake and take responsibility for his/her actions.

Through TIG, I got to learn allot from other members. As one of the volunteer Project Editors of TIG between 2007-2009, I realized that young people around the world have the same issue- improving the lives of their peers and communities and every project the youth presented were almost similar in their contents. Thus, I learned that issues the youth faces in their countries cut across and similar in nature.
