What inspires you?

I'm mostly inspired by other accomplished people and different cultures. Everyone has a choice in life, and I think making the best of what you got is so important.

Tell us about an issue that matters to you and how you became aware and involved.

Growing up in BC, and being so close to the oil sands really made me think about the effect it has on our environment. I was fortunate enough to work on a film about water consumption and the oil sands. The film reached many people and hopefully educated them on this important issue!

Share your perspectives on what makes a good leader.

A great leader is a good listener and attentive. I feel that to be a leader you must act the way you want others too. You must lead by example and be open to ideas and concepts from anyone.

I think being a part of TakingITGlobal will help me learn more about the world and different issues. It will help me get involved globally and become a better person overall. I'm excited to connect with all different walks of life and share stories.
