All-Russia Essay Contest
What does it mean to be a young person in today's Russia? What message do young Russians want to send to the world about their country? In this special issue of Panorama we feature a collection of articles, opinion pieces and poetry that were submitted by Russian youth to the National Youth Essay Contest, What I Would Like to Tell the World about Russia. The essay contest was held in Russia during the months of August-September 2004. Young people were invited to share their perspectives about different aspects of life in Russia: economical, social, cultural, political or environmental.
