FOR SPRING, FOR NINE ELEVENERS
Radiate warmth through your smiling rays,
And colourful hope for better days
Put laughter and nutritious sunshine, On clouded faces even mine
Because your words give life
And your music sooths like that of a wife.
Blossom and prevail
Placate the paled,
Prettify and hail
Rekindle the veiled,
Decorate and mail
Rejuvenate the failed.
