  Poetry

If tribulations knock at my door
And I ignorantly let it in
Would you lift me up off the floor
And prevent me from giving in

If today I am homeless
Would you take me to ur home
And if conditions make me hopeless
Would you give me some hope

If today I am down
Would you write me a poem
And stay with me with my ups and downs
Would you wish me salem

If today I am caught up in the whirlwind
Would you lend a helping hand
And If I couldn't see from my window blind
Would you be there to make me understand

If I put you before me
Would you show you care
Would you do the same and not ignore me
Would you be always there

If sadness resides in my heart and mind
Would you hear me cry
And if I had no one to be mine
Would you be with me till I died

Would u please...?

Writer Profile
Adeyemi Adisa

When I examine myself, I see writing as the only way to express my thoughts and have been wasting no time, however little, in ensuring that I express myself. This is an inspirational thought, potentially instilled in each and everyone of us, but the ways we express ourselves is the difference. I hope to meaningfully make use of most of my time and positively share my thoughts with others. You can check out my site (www.yemmmmy.co.nr) for more of my articles and poems.

Dear Mr. Adeyemi, please what's "salem"? The poet seems to be asking alot (of who?). It sure takes alot to request all that unless you're close... this poem keeps me wondering.
