Such things as these can not
avoid your sight,
Like two brothers kissing,
under flourescent lamplight,
And the cannibal devouring his decadent meal
by night.
Such things my princess does dream,
like pretty ladies covered in cream,
And little boys in skirts, wrestling in dirt,
before the eyes of that one hungry introvert,
And the lust in the head of a lover of the dead,
who now has a corpse in his bed.
Now kiddies,
A question
from me
To you...
Which taboo do you do?

Most of my poetry, as well as my stories, have a darker, sinister nature with a fun quirky undertone. they're the type of thing that makes you wonder whether or not you should be smiling when you do and makes your eyebrows knit together in a quiet kind of amused concern.

"Taboo" is great! I just love this poem <3 There are not many poems I enjoy reading, but this was absolutely one of the poems I will never forget! It is wonderful that you write about something like taboo!! It is important for the world to know about different taboos. Keep up the good work :-D
Strange But It Makes You Think... Emperor Omorogiuwa Edionseri | Oct 20th, 2007
Lyssa May, this is good in a world where many have lost their senses of right and wrong or rather killed it.
I must confess, this is a strange piece and it's strangeness I think makes it stand out. Fine kudos to you.

I'm impressed by your comments and you have poetically addressed the issue. You have also inspired me as a poet too. Thanks. Boeiy
