- Begin by helping students to determine the differences between a myth and a legend. Visit various sites including TIG's Featured Theme to learn more about myths and legends.
- The students select one group of Indigenous People and make up a modern day myth.
- Illustrations can either be made by hand or searching the Internet. You could even have the students design their own graphics using technology.
- An option to consider is to have older students present their stories to a primary classroom and use the TIG link as a visual aid, guiding them through all the different information to help them better understand.
