He must increase, but I must decrease (John 3:30).
May 19th, 2010 by maxwell Adeo Adew
his is a very powerful expression in the Scriptures credited to John the Baptist. He was talking about the Lord Jesus, and he said, “He must increase, but I must
decrease.” If only you’d catch
more
his vision with your spirit and become more of Him and less of yourself.
Remember, the Father said of Jesus, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him” (Matthew 17:5). Jesus is the fulfilment of the Father’s dream; He is our chief example. So if we’re going to please the Father, we’ve got to be like Jesus. We’ve got to copy Him and let our character sink into His character so much that people will begin to say we look just like Him.
John declared that “as He (Jesus) is so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). The question therefore is, Who is He? Jesus is the living Word. He’s the absolute personification of Wisdom. When He walked this earth, He forgave, blessed, healed, raised the dead, embraced sinners, and changed lives. He was such a marvel, and He hasn’t changed (Hebrews 13:8). Our knowledge of who Jesus is helps us know who we are and how we ought to live. When the Holy Ghost reveals Jesus to you from the Word and you get to know Him more, you’d love Him more and become more like Him. Then you can think, talk, and act like Him, because you’ve got His Word in you.
You know, sometimes in my prayer, I tell God, “I don’t just want to be a “preacher”; I want to be like Jesus. I want to do what He did, think like Him and love people the way He did.” This should be your desire too—to see the real value of people and love them for who they really are. Some don’t know who Jesus is and who they are in Him, but you can help them discover themselves and realize their true worth. As you help others discover who Jesus is to fall in love with Him and become like Him, you also become more like Him.
So let Jesus be your example in everything. Copy Him and you’ll be an outstanding success anytime, anywhere!

There Is A Greater You
May 21st, 2010 by maxwell Adeo Adew
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us (2 Corinthians 4:7).
The glory of God that has been deposited within you was not put ther

to be hidden. God’s dream is to see you search out the hidden treasures in your
“earthen vessel” by means of the Spirit, so you can have that glory unveiled and made manifest to the world.
Many have lived and died without having the glorious one in them unveiled. They lived and died as the weak, outer earthen vessel only. All the world saw of them was the outer case that had covered the glorious one within. But there’s a greater “you” within that no one has seen yet, and God’s dream and desire is that you’ll discover him and let him out. All the success, victories, and glories you could have are in that greater “you.” If only you knew it, you’d let out that greatness encapsulated in your spirit.
Speaking concerning the Word, John declared, “That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world” (John 1:9). God’s Word is the only light that can help you locate that greater one in you. That light will show you who you really are: a king that has the power to decree a thing and it’s established unto you!
Yes, you might have made mistakes and experienced some disappointments, so you think you know yourself and your limitations; but you’re looking at the wrong thing. Take your eyes off those limitations and look into Go mirror (His Word). As you look at the glory of God in the mirror, you’re metamorphosed into the image of God’s glory that you see (2 Corinthians 3:18). The more you look at that image, the more you’re changed to become what you see.
This change will happen to you every day as you study God’s Word; as you look at that image in the mirror of God and meditate on it every day. Soon enough, that seemingly weak, timid, failing, limited man that had been out there will give way to the glorious, successful, and powerful new man within. Start today to discover the greater “you” in you from the Word and unveil him to your world.
Confession
I’m the effulgence of God’s glory, beauty and grace. I’m not ordinary, I’m conscious of the supernatural life of God in me; therefore, greatness, excellence and success are in my spirit! And through my words and actions today, I’m unveiling the glory, virtues and perfections of divinity deposited in my spirit to my world!

Rule Your World!

And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of

also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: Who through faith

stopped the mouths of lions (Hebrews 11:32-As Christians, we ought to apply our faith in God’s
Word to deal with situations and challenges. In
the faith’s hall of fame, the Bible talks about certain men
and women who through their faith performed great feats
for the Kingdom of God (Hebrews 11:32-33). These
apostles of faith subdued kingdoms and did supernatural
things in their time; they ruled their world!
The Bible talked about how they wrought
righteousness; meaning when others conformed to error,
they stood their grounds for the truth and prevailed. They
were as the children of Issachar who the Bible says had an
understanding of the times (1 Chronicles 12:32).
By your faith, you too can do great things in your
world today. You can work righteousness and breathe life
back into situations that were hitherto dead. Through your
faith, you can revive that business that’s been grounded You can perform so well in your business or career that
the world will marvel at you. Faith is your currency; rule
your world with it.

Be Polite!.
June 1st, 2010 by maxwell Adeo Adew
et your speech at all times be gracious (pleasant and winsome),
seasoned [as it were] with salt, [so that you may never be at a
loss] to know how you ought to answer anyone [who puts a

ou] (Colossians 4:6 AMP).
Being polite is not a sign of weakness in your
character, but something that reveals the
excellence of God in you. In James 3:13-14, the Bible says,
“Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among
you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works
with meekness of wisdom. But if ye have bitter envying and
strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.”
When you use the right words to address others, you’re
actually displaying the wisdom of God that’s in you. But
bitterness in the heart of man will produce harsh words
and abusive communication.
Let your words reflect the presence of the Spirit of
God that lives in you. Colossians 4:6 says, “Be gracious in
your speech. The goal is to bring out the best in others in a
conversation, not put them down, not cut them out” (MSG).
Let your words uplift, encourage, inspire, soothe and build.
Don’t allow communication that could inflict pain or stir
strife and discord proceed from your lips.
The Bible says in 2 Timothy 2:24, “And the servant of
the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to
teach, patient.” See others with the eyes of God and
address them that way. Be humble in your communication
(James 4:6). Don’t use insulting words to address people
and don’t raise your voice against them. Live the higher
life of good communication and you’ll see the hand of
God move on your behalf

You Can Face Tough Times And Win!

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may
be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to
stand (Ephesians 6:13).
Have you ever had a sense of foreboding of
some

hing unpleasant, yet in your spirit, you
knew you had to face it? What do you do when you find
yourself in such a situation? We can learn from the Master.
The Lord Jesus anticipated evil. His fame spread abroad
after He raised Lazarus from the dead. Some Greeks heard
of Him and came to visit, but Jesus saw their coming as a
sign and said, “The hour is come, that the Son of man
should be glorified” (John 12:23). He then went on to show
His disciples how He was going to die, and by so doing,
bring many to righteousness (John 12:24).
He concluded by saying, “Now is my soul troubled;
and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for
this cause came I unto this hour.” Jesus was troubled within
because of the evil He anticipated, yet He knew it was
part of His destiny. The next thing He did was to go and
pray, and the Bible says, “there appeared an angel unto
him from heaven, strengthening him (Luke 22:43).
To face tough times and win, you need strength from
within, and that strength comes when you pray.
Understand that the evil is not supposed to destroy you;
God would never allow such. 1 Corinthians 10:13 says,
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common
to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be
